AnalyticsStep Funnel

Analyze the Step Funnel

See where a sequence loses momentum. WorkOnward Reach’s step funnel is available on individual campaign detail pages so you can inspect performance step by step, not only campaign by campaign.

Before you begin

  • Open a launched campaign from Outreach > Campaigns
  • Make sure the campaign has sends across multiple steps

Step by step

  1. Go to Outreach > Campaigns and open the campaign you want to inspect.
  2. Scroll to the performance area that includes the step funnel.
  3. Review the sent volume for each step.
  4. Compare opens, clicks, and replies at each step to spot drop-off.
  5. Use what you learn to rewrite weak steps, adjust delays, or remove unnecessary follow-ups.

What the funnel helps you answer

  • Which step earns the most replies
  • Where opens begin to fall off
  • Whether follow-ups are still creating clicks
  • Which subject lines lose momentum after step one

The current main analytics page does not show the step funnel directly. Use the campaign detail view when you want sequence-level drop-off analysis.

What happens next

Once you identify a weak step, you can edit the sequence, update templates, or duplicate the campaign and test a cleaner follow-up path.

Tips

  • Focus first on steps one and two because they drive most of the outcome
  • Remove weak follow-ups instead of adding more volume to a poor sequence
  • Pair funnel review with campaign metrics so you keep both rate and volume in view
