The Block Editor
Drag, drop, and type — building beautiful emails has never been this intuitive. The Block Editor uses a simple block-based approach where each piece of content is a discrete block you can add, move, or remove.
Block types

Adding blocks
- Click the + button between existing blocks (or at the bottom of the editor)
- Choose the block type from the menu
- The block appears in the editor ready to edit
Editing blocks
Click on any block to select it and edit its content:
- Text blocks — Type directly, use the toolbar for formatting (bold, italic, links)
- Button blocks — Set the label text and destination URL
- Image blocks — Enter an image URL or upload to the asset library
- Spacer blocks — Adjust the height
Reordering blocks
Drag blocks up or down to rearrange the email layout. Grab the drag handle on the left side of each block.
Deleting blocks
Click the delete icon on any block to remove it. This action is immediate.
Rich text formatting
Within text and heading blocks, you can:
- Bold —
Ctrl/Cmd + B - Italic —
Ctrl/Cmd + I - Underline —
Ctrl/Cmd + U - Links — Select text and add a URL
- Merge variables — Insert
{{first_name}},{{company}}, and similar tokens
Tips
- Keep emails short for outreach — 3-5 blocks is usually enough for a cold email
- Use one clear CTA — A single button performs better than multiple competing links
- Test on mobile — Use the preview feature to check how your blocks look on smaller screens
