The Block Editor

Drag, drop, and type — building beautiful emails has never been this intuitive. The Block Editor uses a simple block-based approach where each piece of content is a discrete block you can add, move, or remove.

Editing blocks

Click on any block to select it and edit its content:

  • Text blocks — Type directly, use the toolbar for formatting (bold, italic, links)
  • Button blocks — Set the label text and destination URL
  • Image blocks — Enter an image URL or upload to the asset library
  • Spacer blocks — Adjust the height

Reordering blocks

Drag blocks up or down to rearrange the email layout. Grab the drag handle on the left side of each block.

Deleting blocks

Click the delete icon on any block to remove it. This action is immediate.

Rich text formatting

Within text and heading blocks, you can:

  • BoldCtrl/Cmd + B
  • ItalicCtrl/Cmd + I
  • UnderlineCtrl/Cmd + U
  • Links — Select text and add a URL
  • Merge variables — Insert {{first_name}}, {{company}}, and similar tokens

Tips

  • Keep emails short for outreach — 3-5 blocks is usually enough for a cold email
  • Use one clear CTA — A single button performs better than multiple competing links
  • Test on mobile — Use the preview feature to check how your blocks look on smaller screens
