Chat InboxEmail Operations

Use Email Operations in Chat

Handle research-heavy inbox work in conversation form. Chat Inbox is strongest when you want to search, inspect, and summarize email activity without opening multiple views manually.

Before you begin

  • Connect an active mailbox
  • Open Chat > Inbox
  • Decide which mailbox or contact you want to investigate

Step by step

  1. Ask the assistant to list recent emails or search for a sender.
  2. Ask it to read the full details of a specific message once you find the right result.
  3. Use a contact email address to request recent email activity tied to that person.
  4. Continue the thread until you have enough context to respond or escalate.
  5. Switch to Outreach > Inbox if you need to send a direct reply in the campaign thread.

Best-fit use cases

  • Finding a recent email quickly
  • Reading a message without opening several inbox screens
  • Reviewing activity for a known contact
  • Summarizing a conversation before you respond

The current Chat Inbox experience is optimized for search and context retrieval. Use it to investigate email activity, then move into the standard inbox workflow when you need structured thread management.

What happens next

Once you know what happened in the mailbox, you can act faster in the rest of WorkOnward Reach - whether that means replying to a lead, updating a campaign, or checking analytics for broader trends.

Tips

  • Ask for one operation at a time for the cleanest result
  • Include an email address when you want contact-level precision
  • Use Chat Inbox alongside Outreach Inbox rather than as a replacement for thread management
