Campaign Settings
Fine-tune exactly when and how your emails go out for maximum impact. These settings control the pace, timing, and behavior of your campaign.
Daily send cap
Limit how many emails go out per day. This protects your sender reputation and mimics natural sending behavior.
| Setting | Default | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Daily send cap | 50 | 1 - 500+ |
Recommendations:
- New mailbox: Start at 20-30/day, increase by 10 each week
- Established mailbox: 50-100/day is safe for most
- Multiple mailboxes: The cap applies per-campaign, distributed across all assigned mailboxes
Timezone
The timezone that governs your send window. Choose the timezone where most of your recipients are located.
Example: If your contacts are in New York, set timezone to “America/New_York” so emails arrive during their business hours.
Send days
Select which days of the week your campaign sends:
- Default: Monday through Friday
- Options: Any combination of days
Emails scheduled for non-send days are held until the next send day.
Send window
Define the hours during which emails can be sent:
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Window start | 9:00 AM |
| Window end | 5:00 PM |
| Send anytime | Off |
If Send anytime is enabled, emails can go out at any hour during send days.
Best practice: Aim for 8-10 AM in your recipient’s timezone. Early morning emails get higher open rates.
Exclusion rules
| Rule | Default | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Exclude bounced contacts | On | Protects sender reputation |
| Exclude unsubscribed contacts | On | CAN-SPAM compliance |
| Exclude contacts in other active campaigns | Off | Prevents outreach overlap |
Unsubscribe link
| Setting | Default |
|---|---|
| Include unsubscribe link | On |
When enabled, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. This is required for CAN-SPAM compliance.
Tips
- Match send times to your audience — B2B outreach works best during business hours
- Don’t max out daily caps immediately — Gradual ramp-up protects your deliverability
- Use weekday-only sending — Weekend emails have lower open rates for B2B
