Template Studio
Enterprise-grade email design with the ease of a consumer tool. Template Studio is the advanced editor for building sophisticated, brand-consistent emails with full control over layout, themes, and sections.
Studio layout
Template Studio is organized into key areas:

| Canvas | The email preview where you build and edit |
| Inspector | Properties panel for the selected block or section |

Block types
Template Studio includes all Block Editor blocks plus:

| Section | Container for grouping blocks with background colors and padding |
| Logo | Branded logo block with automatic sizing |
| Columns | Advanced multi-column layouts with individual column styling |
| Visibility | Control which blocks show on desktop vs. mobile |
Working with sections
Sections are the building blocks of your layout. Each section:
- Has its own background color and padding
- Contains one or more content blocks
- Can be saved as a reusable section for future templates
Create a section
- Click Add Section in the canvas
- Choose a layout (full-width, two-column, etc.)
- Add content blocks inside the section
Save a section for reuse
- Click the Save icon on a section
- Name the section (e.g., “Standard header”, “CTA footer”)
- The section appears in your Saved Sections panel for future templates
Theme controls
Template Studio lets you define a visual theme that applies across the entire email:
Layout
- Template width — Set the overall email width (480-720px)
- Content alignment — Center or left-align the email
Typography
- Body font — Font family for paragraph text
- Heading font — Font family for headings
- Font sizes — Default sizes for body text and headings
Colors
- Canvas background — The area behind the email
- Content background — The email body background
- Heading color — Color for heading text
- Body text color — Color for paragraph text
- Muted text color — Color for secondary text
- Link color — Color for hyperlinks
- Button background — CTA button fill color
- Button text color — CTA button text color
- Divider color — Color for divider lines
Buttons
- Border radius — Corner roundness for buttons (0px = square, 24px = pill)
Brand consistency made easy. Configure your theme once in Brand Defaults and it automatically applies to every new template you create in Template Studio.
Asset library
Manage images used in your templates:
- Click the Assets tab in the navigation rail
- Upload images (drag and drop or browse)
- Each asset gets a hosted URL you can use in any template
- Set alt text for accessibility
Responsive preview
Preview your email across devices:
- Click the Preview button in the header
- Toggle between Desktop and Mobile views
- Check that your layout adapts properly
Tips
- Start with sections — Plan your email as a series of sections (header, body, CTA, footer)
- Use saved sections — Build a library of reusable header and footer sections
- Set your theme first — Define colors and fonts before adding content
- Test responsiveness — Always preview on mobile before sending
