Get Started with Chat Inbox
Start using the AI assistant in minutes. Once a mailbox is connected, you can ask questions in natural language and let WorkOnward Reach retrieve the relevant email context.
Before you begin
- Connect a mailbox from OneBox > Account
- Prefer a mailbox with inbox access, not a send-only connection
- Confirm the mailbox shows as active
Step by step
- Go to Chat > Inbox.
- Select an active mailbox from the mailbox picker.
- Type a simple prompt such as “Show me the last five emails from today.”
- Wait for the assistant to stream the result.
- Ask a follow-up question to narrow the result or read a specific message.
Good first prompts
- “List my recent emails”
- “Find messages from [email protected]”
- “Read the latest message from Acme”
- “Show email activity for contact [email protected]”
What happens next
After the first answer, the conversation stays in context. You can keep asking for more detail, another search, or a contact-level activity view without starting from scratch.
Tips
- Use one mailbox at a time for cleaner results
- Start broad, then narrow to one person or thread
- If a mailbox is missing, reconnect it from Mailbox or OneBox > Account
